It's great to make a cartoon version of your photos with the latest ChatGPT, but when is AI really going to help you in your work?
Creatives, developers and marketers have been enjoying the benefits of AI-assisted working for some time, but for many, AI does not necessarily offer much added value in their daily work.
Last Friday, Odoo presented its roadmap for the upcoming version 19 later this year at the annual partner day.
An (unexpected) announcement within this roadmap is the introduction of AI functions that can use data from your ERP but can also perform actions within the system.
What should you think about? Some examples:
🗣️ Communication: Write an inviting introduction to a new Lead based on information in your CRM.
⚙️ Automatic actions: Automatically assign project tasks based on a prompt and information in your system.
🪴 Enrich data: Automatically determine a Lead's industry based on information inside and outside the system.
🤖 Agents: Create your own AI agents that you can chat with. Your agents can answer questions or take actions in the system 🤯
In themselves, these AI functionalities are not new. The strength lies in the combination with Odoo 🦾
Odoo is a platform/ERP where all your data and processes are within 1 system. The advantage of this is that AI functions only need to be implemented once to be able to assist directly in all your business processes (purchasing, sales, stock, accounting, etc.) and have access to all your data.
